My shearing date for my sheep, alpacas and llama is scheduled for March 9, 2026. I l look forward to this day and lambing is due to start mid April, watch for pictures! A new bloodline was added in the breeding fall 2025 in both breeds of sheep. I am very anxious to see the lambs but I am each and every year!

Fantastic ribbed basket class that I taught w/Road Scholars at Cedar Lake/Ripley, WV. I still teach Ribbed Baskets and Needle Felting with a bit of wet felting at Cedar Lakes. A beautiful, peaceful atmosphere to take classes and have a fantastic time! CLASSES ARE NOW TAUGHT UNDER CEDAR LAKES CONFERENCE CENTER, SAME LOCATION!

I thank my fiber friends at the 2026 Fiber Retreat at Hawk's Nest Lodge in Anstead, WV. Another fun time filled with laughter, stories and a successful retreat. I also thank Jay and Cari for bringing mohair fleeces and Kerri for hauling the fleeces from Tennessee to me! So much fun!

My new insoles are a combination of wool and the alpaca fiber from my animals. A very long - process with me doing the work on a needle felting machine but well done! The fibers were scoured, blended at the Ohio Valley Farm & Fiber Mill in Peebles, Ohio - I certainly recommend the mill!
ARCHIBALD, my new Jacob bloodline. He is a "lilac" Jacob and my goal is to have more EWE Jacob lambs this spring! Last year was a year of rams. Hopefully not this year....time will tell!
